Painting the Town's Heads Red
When you're trying to draw as many people as you can in just five days, it pays to live in a tourist town. I took part in the 2019 'One Week/100 People' international drawing challenge, aiming to draw at least 20 people a day and at the same time have fun. I started at the bottom of the page and kept drawing until I met my target numbers for the day. I was aiming for a unified look with just black, white and grey, but at the end on a whim I dyed everyone’s hair red.
I used a fineliner pen, Posca paint marker pens, Pitt Artist pens, Tombow dual brush pens, a Pentel pocket brush pen, a white gel pen and watercolour in an A6 (6x4.5 in.) sketchbook.
