Using coloured inks - Colour harmony in line and wash
I was working on the pen and ink chapter in late winter and early spring, when sunflowers are in short supply. But our local florist Martyn Crossley in Windsor produced this gorgeous trio, and I set about developing the illustration for pages 154 and 155. Along with a step-by-step demonstration, you'll find the colour recipes I used for the yellows, reds and greens in this drawing.
